Carnival Nationz announce PIRATES as their much anticipated theme for CARIBANA 2008

Monday December 24th, 2007 Toronto, ON, Canana: 2-Time Caribana 'Band of the Year' and defending King, Queen and Male Individual of Caribana winners; Foster Pontiac Buick GMC and Carnival Nationz have launched their much anticipated theme for Caribana 2008. Playing winning themes such as Dis is Paradise and V la Copa Mundial for the first 2 years, last years the Big Top generated much critical acclaim despite placing 3rd on parade day. The bands success was measured more along the lines of people support becoming one of the largest bands in Caribana history swelling to well over 1,500 masqueraders. So great was the support that band leaders and designers had to suspend registrations one month before the actual parade as the band was completely SOLD OUT.

With the success of the first 3 years behind them, Fosters Carnival Nationz has embarked on season number four with renewed commitment to YOU, the public and supporters, to continually learn from past challenges, develop new and innovative technologies, and remain the leader in the marketplace in design, customer service and value-for-dollar.

As such, on Saturday 8th December, Fosters Carnival Nationz launched their 2008 theme that is sure to arouse the Adventure in ALL PIRATES
URGHHHH were coming maties!!

Truly one of the most Caribbean of themes PIRATES from Fosters Carnival Nationz will be a high sea adventure that will see masqueraders swear allegiance to the code, hunt and battle for great treasures, become shipwrecked and ultimately be the greatest and most legendary of figures in the folklore and history of the sea-world PIRATES.

This journey of adventure and chivalry is set to commence on Saturday 24th May during Fosters Carnival Nationz band launch at a venue to be announced in due course. Come prepared to be dazzled and entertained in a manner never seen before for Caribana.

As well, look out for the revamped Carnival Nationz Kiddies Carnival band
Lil Nationz to be re-launched in 2008 as the band re-ignites its focus on the kids of Fosters Carnival Nationz.
